January 14 - the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a wide-ranging event was organized at the Samarkand State Medical University. At the event, which was organized in cooperation with the Samarkand regional council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the 526th mobilization reserve of the Samarkand region, military units 75061, 37239, 95659, the Department of Defense Affairs of the Samarkand region, the Central Military District of the Armed Forces, the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces and the Sanitary Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Defense The center was attended by employees of the Samarkand regional department.

  At the event, a meeting was organized and the formation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the current potential of our army were discussed. And the representatives of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan informed the students about the history, activities and opportunities of the academy and the privileges given to the students. The head of the department of the Military Medical Academy, Lieutenant Colone Qutliyev Jamshid Amonboyevich, informed the students about the procedure of applying and studying at the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the educational directions and specializations of Bachelor, Military internship, Clinical internship, Master's degree, Doctorate. Interviews with students wishing to study at the Academy were organized.

  In the practical part of the event, which took place in the spirit of the happiness, the students were presented with military performances prepared by the guests, samples of exercises, interesting military demonstrations and an exhibition of weapons.

  The organized event made the students fully aware of the power of our army, proud of it and high patriotism.
