On the initiative of Medical Faculty No.1 of Samarkand State Medical University, the students of the faculty visited the military unit No.13060 of the Central Military District. The familiarization visit had the purpose to fill the students' extracurricular time with content, to support patriotic feelings and pride for the national army.

  During the visit students had an opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of the military unit, conditions for military service, to get answers to their questions.

  During the study visit, the students also had the opportunity to see hand-to-hand combat performances, honor guard formation and weapons exhibition.
