The Uzbekistan-Belarus Medical Forum was held in the Republic of Belarus on November 27-29. In recent years, cooperation between the two countries has been expanding in all spheres, including health care. And the forum is a vivid evidence of it.

  The international forum was attended by leading healthcare specialists and heads of medical universities of both countries. At the conference held in the "Palace of the Republic" in Minsk, the capital of Belarus, more than 100 memorandums and agreements on cooperation in various areas were signed between the ministries of health of the two countries, specialized medical centers and their regional branches, medical universities, regional, district and city health care institutions.

  Within the framework of the forum Samarkand State Medical University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Belarusian State Medical University. Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Jasur Rizaev was awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus.
