On November 9 of this year, Samarkand State Medical University was visited by guests led by the vice president of Poldent company Dr. Małgorzata Nowak Niedzwiedska.  Rector of SamSMU Zhasur Rizayev welcomed the guests.

  The purpose of the visit was to establish mutual cooperation relations and raise the relations of Uzbekistan and Poland to a new level. Thus, a cooperation agreement was signed at the end of the meeting.  In particular, it was agreed to cooperate on spheres of stomatology, general medicine and maxillofacial surgery, to implement joint educational programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and to organize training courses in the near future.

  Also, the agreement envisages cooperation between the two institutions in co-authorship of articles and scientific materials, organization of scientific conferences and summer schools, as well as a number of other issues.

  For information, it should be noted that the Poldent company is a large company engaged in the design, production and supply of the highest quality tools for dentistry, which has been operating since 1988.  Poldent company organizes more than a hundred courses for doctors from all over the world in cooperation with Polish and foreign teachers every year.

  At the end of the meeting Rector of SamSMU Zhasur Rizayev presented the guests with souvenirs.
