Delegation of Samarkand State Medical University visited Bashkir State Medical University.  During the visit, the representatives of the university met with the rector of BSMU, academician of RAS Valentin Nikolaevich Pavlov.  Thus,  joint scientific projects and cooperation between Samarkand State Medical University and Bashkir State Medical University and possibilities of SamSMU students' practical training on the basis of BSMU was at the meeting.

  During the visit to BSMU, Head of the Department of Pharmacology Soatboy Yuldashev and assistant of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Technology Esan Boymurodov conducted a series of experiments with students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of SamSMU.  Within the framework of academic mobility, SamSMU teachers gave lectures on pharmacology, pharmacognosy, surgery, pediatrics, foreign and Russian languages, conducted seminars and practical classes.

  Also the delegation of SamSMU familiarized themselves with teaching laboratories and educational process of BSMU.  They visited South Ural Botanical Garden-Institute and "Limonarium" educational farm with exotic, useful and medicinal plants, collection of citrus fruits grown on the territory of the botanical garden and lemonarium.

  It would not be an exaggeration to say that the visit of the delegation of Samarkand State Medical University to Bashkir State Medical University will create a basis for further strengthening of cooperation between the two higher educational institutions.
