A delegation from the State Scientific Medical Library of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited Samarkand State Medical University.

  The purpose of the visit was to conduct a training seminar "Organization of medical libraries in modern conditions" on the basis of the library of Samarkand State Medical University.  Also within the framework of the visit the guests were familiarized in detail with the conditions created in the Information Resource Center of Samarkand State Medical University, study rooms and computer classes.

  The decoration of units of the  Information and Resource Center of University, rooms for readers and users, rare manuscripts of XVIII-XIX centuries left an indelible impression on the guests.

  Now the Information Resource Center of SamSMU provides free access to the electronic database of the State Library of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan and access to https://t.me/uzmedlibuz", "GNMB SciNews", "https //natmedlib.uz".  This opportunity will allow to effectively organize the activity of IRC in the university and create more opportunities for students.
