On September 29, an educational meeting was held at Samarkand State Medical University on the topic “Combating human trafficking and forced labor.” The event was attended by representatives of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Samarkand region, the university administration, employees of the dean’s office, tutors, and students of the Faculty of Medicine No. 1.

  Employees of the Department of Combating Terrorism of the Internal Affairs Directorate Fatima Rakhmatova, Firdavs Kochkarov, and Advisor to the Rector Elorbek Aripov, who spoke at the meeting, told the participants in detail about countering terrorism, religious extremism, human trafficking, and their negative consequences. The speakers urged students to be vigilant and consciously use social networks. The meeting participants were also shown a video on the topic.
