The well-known UK ranking organization, the Times Higher Education agency, annually publishes the results of the World University Rankings. And this year, the Times Higher Education agency announced the results of its world ranking of universities “World University Rankings–2024” (https://www.timeshighereducation.com/world-univers...).

  According to the results of this rating, Samarkand State Medical University this year has strengthened its “Reporter” status among 48 universities in our republic. SamSMU was included in the prestigious ranking last year, and this year it was awarded a higher place in the international ranking.

  For reference, we note that this ranking assesses the effectiveness of universities in 5 areas based on 18 indicators, including teaching, research environment, research quality, industry and international perspective. This year the ranking included 1,904 universities from 108 countries, and 769 of them received the status of “reporter”.
