Samarkand State Medical University establishes cooperation and partnerships with many foreign medical schools.
On September 6-8, SamSMU was visited by a delegation consisting of Rector of Altai State Medical University Irina Sheremetieva and Vice-Rector for International Relations and Digital Transformation Alexey Rezinkin.
Thus, foreign colleagues got acquainted with the new academic building of the university, teaching and laboratory rooms and information-resource center, expressed their admiration for the organization of the education system and the created conditions for students.
During the visit they discussed the development of mutual cooperation and implementation of joint educational programs between Altai State Medical University and Samarkand State Medical University. In particular, an agreement was reached on the commencement of a joint educational program in the format of "3+2" in the field of dentistry.
Admission to this joint educational program is scheduled for October this year.
