Samarkand State Medical University closely cooperates with many foreign educational institutions and clinics in order to improve the quality of training of highly qualified specialists and to become an active participant of the international educational space.
On August 12, the delegation of NAGAI Medical Clinic (Japan) paid a practical visit to Samarkand State Medical University. The delegation consisting of Nagai Koji, head of NAGAI clinic, presidents of the clinic Shimaoka Erina and Kishimoto Yumihiko, nurse Nagai Kaoru, was welcomed by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Zafar Aminov and Dean of the Faculty of International Education Sobirjon Mamarajabov.
During the talks the parties discussed issues of mutual cooperation, in particular training of personnel in the field of higher nursing and realization of other perspective plans in the field of higher medical education.
Moreover, during the visit the guests familiarized themselves with the conditions created in the new educational building of the university and visited the museum of the university. The NAGAI delegation visited the Simulation Center and had an opportunity to get acquainted with the educational opportunities, technical means and simulation equipment created for students.
At the end of the visit the guests were given souvenirs with SamSMU symbols.
