On April 19, an agitation and educational event was held at Samarkand State Medical University under the slogan "My, yours, our Constitution!" The solemn meeting was attended by representatives of the leadership of SamSMU, teachers and students, representatives of state and public organizations of the region and the city of Samarkand.

  Speaking at the opening of the meeting, the first vice-rector for work with youth and spiritual and educational work of the university, E. Tangirov, spoke about the wide possibilities created for young people, and called on everyone to actively participate in the referendum on the draft law of the new Constitution.

  Taking part in the meeting - deputy of the Samarkand city Kengash from the UzLiDeP party Fazliddin Gaibullaev, chairman of the UzLiDeP Veterans Council Ilkhom Mukhtorov, member of the Party Council Akhmadzhon Ibodov in their speeches gave information about the referendum on its difference from the elections, especially noted that all the innovations those included in the Constitution fully cover the social sphere and reflect the interests and aspirations of our people.

  At the end of the event, a concert program was presented that brought everyone a genuine festive mood
