On April 7, 2023, the II International Conference "Innovative Technologies in Healthcare: New Opportunities for Internal Medicine" was held at Samarkand State Medical University. The international conference was attended by leading scientists and researchers of medical universities and scientific centers of Russia, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Great Britain, Poland and our republic. The purpose of the II International Scientific and Practical Conference "Innovative Technologies in Healthcare: New Opportunities for Internal Medicine" was to discuss topical problems in the field of cardiology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, neurology, rheumatology, nephrology, endocrinology, hematology and other areas of internal medicine.
At the opening of the international forum, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Jasur Rizaev, Rector of the Izhevsk State Medical Academy, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Alexei Shklyaev, addressed with words of greeting to the participants. (Izhevsk, RF), Advisor to the Director of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Cardiology, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Hero of Uzbekistan Ravshanbek Kurbanov, Chairman of the Association of Therapists of Uzbekistan, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Anis Alyavi, Rector yavi, Belarusian State Medical University, Corresponding Member Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sergey Rubnikovich. (Minsk, Belarus) and other guests expressed their opinions on the importance of studying issues of internal medicine for the development of practical healthcare, training of qualified personnel and the importance of developing international cooperation.
After the plenary session, the forum was held at eight sectional meetings, where more than 100 reports and poster speeches were heard in the areas of cardiology, pulmonology and phthisiology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, endocrinology, family medicine, topical research in medicine. The speeches of young research scientists at the special session were very warmly received by the participants of the international forum. Also, within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference, a joint symposium was held between the Samarkand State Medical University and the largest medical university in Poland - the Silesian Medical University, as well as the University of Medical Sciences of Turkey.
The international conference "Innovative Technologies in Healthcare: New Opportunities for Internal Medicine" held by Samarkand State Medical University II will be an important step for further discussion of topical issues of internal medicine in the republic and the region, modern methods of treating various diseases, mutually beneficial exchange of experience, improving the quality of training qualified medical personnel, as well as strengthening international relations of medical universities and scientific centers.
