Samarkand State Medical University held International School of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine "Particular Issues of Medical Rehabilitation in Medical Practice" on March 27. The school was held in a hybrid, online and offline format.
The international school included lectures by renowned experts in the field of rehabilitation medicine - "Traumatic injuries of the thigh muscles - how to carry out rehabilitation more effectively in practice?" by Boris Polyayev, DSc, Professor, Chief Specialist in Sports Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Health, member of the European Olympic Committees' Commission on Science and Medicine, President of RASMIRBI, Member of Executive Committees of FIMS and EFSMA; Pavel Efimov, Assistant Professor at the Department of Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine and Physical Education of Pirogov National Research Medical University (Moscow, Russia)), "Post-stroke rehabilitation. Periodization, possibilities of general pharmacological support" by Elena Dyakonova DSc, Professor of Ivanovo State Medical Academy, Expert of Ministry of Health of Russia on neurology (Ivanovo, Russia), "Innovative technologies in post-stroke rehabilitation" by Albert Shakarov, Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor of Center for Educational Technologies "DiAS" Ltd (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia).
Then, the lectures were followed by discussion of the presentations and demonstration of rehabilitation equipment by KORVIT.
All participants of the International School of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine received certificates of participation.
