On March 18, in honor of the Navruz holiday, a nationwide charity khashar (eng. a day of voluntary gratuitous work) was held at Samarkand State Medical University.

  During khashar, landscaping works on sanitary purification of territories, troughs and ditches, classrooms, protection of trees from pests, as well as planting new seedlings in academic buildings, student dormitories, 1st and 2nd clinics of the University were carried out with active participation of faculty and staff of Samarkand State Medical University.
