The attention to young people in our country is great and the concern for a harmoniously developed new generation has been established at the level of public policy.

  The concentration of significant funds and resources on young people and the permanent increase in the level of support for them has opened up many opportunities. Because young people are the future of the country, the creators of tomorrow.

  On March 16, 2022, Rector of the Samarkand State Medical Institute, Professor Zhasur Rizaev met with the students studying in the 1st year of medical faculty.

  At the meeting Rector of the institute Zhasur Rizaev spoke about the work being carried out at the faculty, the conditions created for teachers and students, and made proposals for future work.

  Address to students consisted of the following theses:

1) The main goal is to create competitive human resources in the field of medicine.

2. Students need to devote more time to research activities.

3. The need for graduates of the institute to get a special place in the labour market is one of the priorities of the institute.

4. A number of issues were raised, such as the need for students to work with professors and lecturers on a regular basis, in order to strengthen their knowledge and skills of the students.

  During an open dialogue with the administration of the institute, students received answers to their questions and made suggestions.

  The creation of a mechanism for working with youth, which offers great opportunities for students, deserves special attention.

  For reference, there are currently 1,815 first-year students at SamSMI, including students enrolled in joint educational programmes, and international students.
