On March 3-5, representatives of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education and the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan inspected the quality of education and conditions created at Samarkand region higher educational institutions and schools. Ulugbek Tashkenbaev, head of State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education, Abdukodir Tashkulov, minister of higher and secondary special education, Khurshid Ochilov, deputy khokim of Samarkand region on youth policy, social development and spiritual enlightenment held a meeting with participation of university rectors, heads of regional departments of public and pre-school education.
The results of studies of higher education institutions, technical colleges and secondary schools in the region were discussed during the meeting.
They exchanged opinions on works done, achievements, mistakes and shortcomings in organization of education process and use of innovative technologies in preparing competitive, qualified personnel by higher education institutions.
The meeting was attended by leaders of Samarkand State Medical Institute, who analyzed the views, suggestions and questions raised, and set tasks on further improvement of medical education in the university.
