Today, on February 3, 2022, Martaba Ashurova Ashurovna, the leading specialist of Information Resource Centre of Samarkand State Medical Institute, has passed away.

  Martaba Ashurova was born on 26 May 1955 in Samarkand. She was wonderful wife, loving mother of three children and grandmother of many grandchildren.

  Martaba Ashurovna was hired at Information Resource Center of the Institute in 2009.During her work in Information Resource Center she was disciplined, hardworking, demanding and respected member of staff.

  Martaba Ashurovna contributed a lot to the introduction of the bibliographic and technological description of literature in the electronic catalogue database of the Information Resource Center's automated system.

  She worked mainly with students. She also regularly checked on the timely return of textbooks and other documents borrowed by the library.

  Martaba Ashurova took an active part in the public affairs of the Institute. Colleagues and students respected her for her modesty, honesty and kindness, and she was always an example of endurance, admonition and discipline.

  The bright memory of Martaba Ashurova will forever remain in our hearts.
