At the department of «Social and humanitarian sciences» students of the 1st, 2nd year of the directions «Medicine», «Pediatrics», «Dentistry», «Medical Biology», «Medical Prevention», «Pharmacy» are trained in the disciplines «Recent History of Uzbekistan», «Philosophy”, “History of Medicine”, “Bioethics”, 3rd and 4th year students of the direction “Pharmacy” are trained in the disciplines “Pharmaceutical Economics” and “Pharmaceutical law and bioethics”. Masters of the 1st course are trained in the disciplines «Methodology of scientific research». Students of the 1st and 2nd year of joint education study the disciplines «History of Uzbekistan», «Philosophy», «Jurisprudence», «Cultural Studies», «Sociology». Students of the 1st and 2nd year of international education (MBBS, MD) study the disciplines «History of Uzbekistan», «Philosophy», «History of Medicine».

  Training is conducted according to the following approved documents for each course and faculty:

- qualification characteristic;

- state standard;

- training program;

- training work program;

- educational technologies include:

- international recommendations;

– modern educational technologies (graphic organizers, case technology and design method).

  The following technical means are provided in the learning process:

  A telecommunications system has been organized, with the help of TVs connected to the central computer, thematic videos, presentations, multimedia programs, lectures and practical classes are shown. There is a single bank of scanned images designed for unified learning, structured according to the curriculum, and corresponding to all sections of the curriculum.

  Department library:

• The library has more than 100 titles of educational literature in Uzbek and Russian.

• The electronic library contains textbooks, teaching aids, teaching aids and much more.
