On October 16, the «General Dictation» campaign was held at Samarkand State Medical University, dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Law «On the State Language».

  This campaign was held with the assistance of the Department of State Language Development of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Language Development Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the Tashkent State University of the Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi in order to form a sense of national pride and pride in the Uzbek language.

  All students from all faculties of the university took an active part in the campaign.
