Samarkand State Medical University has established cooperation relations with a number of foreign higher education institutions, including Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino. visited the state medical university.

  During the visit, the delegation led by Jasur Rizayev got to know Tajik State Medical University and its conditions, educational system, laboratory and educational activities. Within the framework of the visit, Samarkand State Medical University rector Jasur Rizayev participated in the XIX scientific-practical conference of young scientists and students of Tajik State Medical University named after Abu Ali ibn Sino on the topic "Youth and medical innovation: building tomorrow" with the participation of foreign representatives.

  Also, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, professor Jasur Rizayev was awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" of Tajik State Medical University.

  It is no exaggeration to say that the visit of the Samarkand State Medical University delegation to the Tajik State Medical University will create the basis for raising the cooperation between the two universities to a new level.
