Samarkand State Medical University carries out academic mobility in cooperation with medical universities of a number of foreign countries.  In particular, on October 27 of the current year Samarkand State Medical University was visited by Honored Scientist of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Prof. Viktorova T.V. and Professor of the Department of Medical Genetics of the Belarusian State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation S.Sh. Murzabaeva.

  During the visit within the framework of academic mobility an educational and scientific seminar on "Human Genome and Personalized Medicine" was organized.  At the seminar, held at the Department of Clinical and Laboratory Diagnostics and with the course of clinical and laboratory diagnostics of FPE of Samarkand State Medical University, modern approaches to prevention of hereditary pathology and genetic analysis of JRA patients, as well as other topical issues were discussed.

  Also during the seminar the issues of mutual cooperation between the universities and prospects of its development were spoken.
