On May 2, a seminar on increasing publishing activity was held in the conference room of the new building of Samarkand State Medical University for faculty, doctoral students and applicants.
The head of training of scientific and pedagogical personnel A.A. Kim, who opened the seminar, noted the relevance of the seminar and the importance of scientific work of university employees to increase the rating of the university. The speaker of the seminar was the director of the Academy of Education, Science and Innovation, editor-in-chief of the international scientific journal "Research Focus" Sardorzhon Saloydinov. During the master class, the speaker explained in detail about working with scientific journals and databases, the peculiarities of preparing and issuing scientific articles in journals included in the Scopus database, especially noted the methods of calculating "predatory" journals.
The seminar was held in the format of an open dialogue, the speaker gave detailed explanations on all the questions asked by the participants.
