On April 26, a forum of rectors of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Poland was held.

  As part of this forum, on April 28, Samarkand State Medical University was visited by rectors of a number of higher educational institutions in Poland and experts from the international organization IREG - Academic Rankings. Within the framework of the visit, various negotiations were held aimed at developing cooperation between Samarkand State Medical University and Polish universities.

  In particular, bilateral negotiations took place between the rector of the Silesian Medical University Tomas Schepinsky and the rector of the Pomor Academy in Slupsk Zbigniew Osadovsky with the rector of our university Jasur Rizaev.

  As a result of these negotiations, an agreement was reached on training personnel between our university and Polish higher education institutions, conducting joint scientific research, as well as eliminating the academic exchange of teachers and students, and a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Samarkand State Medical University and the Pomor Academy.

  As part of the visit of representatives of 9 higher educational institutions of Poland to the university, the educational fair "Study in Poland" was held. With great interest, more than 3,000 graduates of the academic lyceum of Samarkand State Medical University, medical colleges, public health colleges named after Abu Ali ibn Sino and comprehensive schools took part in it.

  At the fair, training programs were presented that Polish scientists made to foreign students. Currently, it is very pleasant that the youth of our country received an education in Poland, where she received awards allocated for students.
