A job fair for graduates was organized at Samarkand State Medical University on November 26 in cooperation with the Regional Khokimiyat (eng. Local government), Regional Prosecutor's Office, Regional Employment Department and Health Department.
Forty-three medical institutions, including district and city medical associations and regional medical preventive institutions, participated in the job fair, presenting more than 600 vacancies.
At specially organised meeting with graduates N.A. Yarmukhamedova, vice-rector for educational work of SamSMU, representatives of administration of Regional Department of Employment and Health Department, talked in details about privileges and preferences for graduates, and gave detailed answers to all questions.
Thus, more than 40 graduates received referrals for employment in medical institutions at the last job fair.
