An international seminar named “New in Ultrasound Diagnostics: Elastography” was held at Samarkand State Medical University on November 5. Teachers, students, clinical residents, staff of the university clinics and specialists of ultrasound diagnostics of Samarkand city took part in the seminar.

  Thus, Obid Khamidov, dean of Medical faculty #2, Djonibek Kadyrov, dean of faculty of postgraduate education, and Djaloliddin Mansurov, head of department of radiology diagnosis and therapy made report at the opening of international seminar that stressed importance of the theme of seminar for practical healthcare.

  The keynote speaker of the seminar, professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, “V.I. Kulakov National Centre for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology”, Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Moscow, RF) gave a lecture and a master class within the framework of “New in Ultrasound Diagnostics: Elastography” seminar. Numerous clinical cases and scientific innovations presented at the lecture aroused great interest among the participants.

  The international seminar took place in an interactive, discussion-oriented format.
