In the transformation of modern health care, an important role is played by international cooperation with developed countries and the introduction of innovative technologies in the field.

  A memorandum of understanding signed on 19 April 2019 by the Samarkand State Medical University Clinic of Pediatric Surgery with the Chilgok Clinic of Gyeongbuk National University of the Republic of Korea has provided a solid foundation for introducing endosurgical operations into clinical practice, training specialists, and equipping the clinic with modern equipment.

  On June 8, 2022, the inauguration ceremony of the Telemedicine Remote Centre was held at the Pediatric Surgical Clinic of Samarkand State Medical University. The opening ceremony was attended by the Rector of SamSMU, Prof. J.A.Rizaev and he congratulated all the participants of the event.

  The aim of the opening of the telemedicine remote centre is the exchange of experience on current issues in paediatric surgery, modern innovative surgical techniques, remote patient counselling, and the exchange of views on research directions. The opening of such an international telemedical centre at the clinic will undoubtedly serve to further improvement in the quality of specialised surgical care for the population.
