From 11 to 14 May 2022 staff of Samarkand State Medical University: Head of Internal Medicine Department ¹ 3 Gulandom Shodikulova, assistants Ulugbek Pulatov and Zarangis Tairova visited the Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (Almaty, Kazakhstan) by academic mobility program.

  During the visit, there was a wide exchange of experience with Kazakh colleagues. Our employees studied educational process and scientific-research work of KazNMU which is one of the leading medical institutions of neighboring republic; visited central clinical hospital, Chair of Therapy and studied features of educational and scientific work of Departments. Representatives of SamGMU also held lectures and practical classes for KazNMU students.

  During their visit, the representatives of SamSMU faculty met with the University Rector Talgat Nurgozhin and Vice-Rector for Academic Mobility Clara Bayldinova.

  Acquaintance with KazNMU's experience in training medical personnel will serve to further increase the academic potential of our university and strengthen its international relations.
