Samarkand State Medical University held a practical seminar on "Dual education in a phased transition to the University 3.0 model". The meeting was attended by students of the Faculty of Pharmacy and teachers of the Department of Medical Chemistry.

  The seminar was opened by the Vice-rector for Research and Innovation, Dr. Ziyadullaev. Head of the chair of medicinal chemistry, Ph.D. Kholmurodova spoke about the model of University 3.0 and dual education. The lecturer noted that the Development Concept of Higher Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030 provides a phased introduction of the concept of "University 3.0", which involves the development of innovation and commercialization of research results. She also added that the dual training is a type of education, in which the theoretical part is held at the university, and practical - at the production company.

  Then, Dilyorbek Narbekzoda, Head of HR Department of one of the leading manufacturing companies "Samarkand England Eco-Medical" and Faridun Vakhidov, manager of ISM department, who participated in the seminar informed students about the company and requirements to modern employees.

  The seminar was held in the format of a lively dialogue. The participants expressed their opinion that such seminars should be held on a regular basis.
