A round-table discussion on the "Negative Consequences of Early Marriage" and "Place of Women in the Society" was held at the Students' Dormitory No.3 of Samarkand State Medical University.
The meeting was attended by Advisor on Women's Affairs of Medical Faculty #1 K.R. Norkulova, teacher-educator of dormitory O. Turabaeva, tutor of stomatology faculty M.R. Akabaeva, professors of departments and female students.
Teacher of department of Uzbek and Russian language N. D. Irbutayeva spoke in detail about the negative consequences of early marriages, the place and role of women in modern society at the round table. Other participants also noted the relevance of these issues for sustainable development and ensuring the rights and interests of girls and women.
The round table took the form of an open discussion and all issues on the agenda were discussed.
