In order to enhance the publication activity in prestigious international scientific journals, to improve knowledge and skills of registration of the results of research work of staff, the training course for novice researchers and young scientists was started in Samarkand State Medical Institute since February 5, 2022. This course is attended by assistants of departments and courses, doctoral students, independent fellows and residents of the Institute's master's program.

  The training course will cover all aspects of research work, from formulation of a scientific problem to writing and publication of scientific articles and theses, selection and preparation of literature, familiarization with the basic types of research and the basics of statistical data processing, preparation of research projects and grants, and submission of data for passing the ethics committee.

  On the first day of the training course , the head of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, PhD Aziza Makhmudova made a report "The basics of preparing and publishing articles" in the conference hall of the new building of the Institute. The presentation covered in detail the importance of publications in top-rated journals, their great significance for improving the ranking of the Institute, the definition of the concept of a scientific article, methodology of their writing and design, search and selection of magazines for publication of research results, issues of citation and impact factor, as well as other components of modern scientific research.

  The seminar was held in a very active format, at the end the speaker answered the numerous questions of the seminar participants.
