How students spend their winter holidays

  A total of 2,606 students, including 2,577 international and 29 full-time students, are currently spending their winter holidays in dormitories at institutions of higher education across the country.

  To make their holidays more meaningful, various cultural events, sports competitions and intellectual competitions are organised.

  In order to ensure the quality and versatility of the organization of international students' holidays, sports competitions have started at the Samarkand State Medical Institute dormitory.

  The Ministry's Centre for Spirituality and Education screened a documentary film on the life and work of the famous poet Abdulla Aripov for foreign students spending their winter holidays in the dormitory of the Tashkent Medical Academy.

  The leisure time of seven students staying for the winter holidays in the 5th dormitory of the Termez State University was carried out beneficially.

  Scientific and creative leisure activities were organized for five students spending their winter holidays in dormitory No. 6 at Samarkand State University.

  The Navoi State Pedagogical Institute was visited in order to examine the condition of Turkmen students who, because of the pandemic, were spending their winter holidays in dormitories.

  The Khorezm Regional Music and Drama Theatre of Urgench State University performed the play "Jaloliddin Manguberdi" staged by the theatre artists for students living in dormitories.
