The department's research focuses on public health and reducing morbidity. This focus includes studying modern healthcare management models and their effectiveness. Research using medical and statistical methods analyzes public health indicators and produces scientific articles aimed at improving preventive medical care. The department's research focuses on studying international experience and implementing it in the domestic healthcare system, as well as developing effective methods for promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The research conducted by faculty members in the Department of Public Health and Healthcare Management has always been closely linked to the training of academic staff and the needs of practical healthcare. It aims to address the objectives outlined in the State Program for the Development of Science and Technology, namely: "Methods for Promoting a Healthy Lifestyle," "Protecting Maternal and Child Health: Developing Diagnostic, Treatment, and Preventive Methods Taking into Account Regional Specifics," and "Health Insurance and Its Development." The department's researchers participate in competitions for grants for research. Independent researchers include Dilbar Negmatovna Alimzhanova, whose research paper is titled "A System for Applying Proprietary Technologies in the Didactic Process of Higher Education (Based on Pedagogy and Psychology)"; Anvar Alamovich Kurbanov, whose research paper is titled "Clinical, Dynamic, Immunological, Neurophysiological, and Neuropsychological Criteria for Predicting Post-Traumatic Epilepsy"; and Gulzoda Komilzhanovna Dustova, whose research paper is titled "Morphology of the Small Intestine in a Model of Metabolic Syndrome Developed Against the Background of Alimentary Obesity and Its Correction."
Over the past five years, the department's staff has published over 500 research papers, including six textbooks, 20 teaching aids, six monographs, nine electronic programs, and over 400 articles in leading national and international journals
