The internationalist tasks of Samarkand State Medical University, based on the Concept of Institute Development, have been used to strengthen their place in the wider range of international education. The main advantages of internationalization are increasing the number of students from abroad, developing joint projects with universities and research centers abroad, increasing the number of researchers and teachers teaching in foreign universities, and increasing the number of joint programs with universities abroad that will allow them to receive two diplomas.
More than 60 state and international organizations, universities and research centers abroad are developing relations with participants in international cooperation in education and science in Greek based on the equality of Samarkand State Medical University. The development of cooperation with the universities of Europe, Asia, Northern A, and cis is based on joint programs and educational mobility.
Each year, the number of qualified specialists, professors, students and researchers abroad who visit SamSMU to establish cooperation, improve their skills, and attend scientific conferences is increasing.
