Since its inception, the department has effective scientific ties with the Kirov, Alma-Ata medical universities.

  Geography of cooperation: the department has connections and cooperation dialogues with a number of higher educational institutions and research centers of near and far abroad, including:

• Kirov State Medical University of the Russian Federation.
• State Medical University named after "Abu Ali Ibni Sino" Tajikistan.
• Turkish State Medical University.
