A grant is an amount of money that a government gives to an individual or to an organization for research followed by a report on their use. Research grants allow scientists to conduct relevant scientific research, take part in scientific events, purchase equipment and scientific literature, and publish their works. The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan has a new grant system for financing scientific and technical projects.
