On December 11 of this year, a scientific and practical seminar on the topic "New genetic era: analysis of the microbiome and NIPT using third-generation sequencing" was held at the Samarkand State Medical University. The seminar was organized by the Scientific Center of Immunology, Allergology and Human Genomics at SSMU and the company "eGnome" (Republic of Korea).

  Rector of SamSMU Jasur Rizayev and President of the National Council of Social Security of the Republic of Korea Sang-Mok Suh, who made an opening speech to the participants of the scientific and practical seminar, noted the importance of the scientific seminar for the development of medical services, and in particular medical genetics.

  During the seminar, a number of scientific and practical achievements in the field were discussed, the main scientific problems were explained and answers to the questions posed were given. Also, within the framework of the international seminar, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Samarkand State Medical University, the Scientific Center for Immunology, Allergology and Human Genomics of the university and the eGnome company.
