The Constitution is a guarantee of human rights and freedoms

  On the occasion of the Day of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the Samarkand State Medical University held a meeting on the topic "The Constitution is a guarantee of human rights and freedoms". The meeting was attended by the head of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences, Professor A. Maxmudova, teachers G. Tursunova and others, students of the university.

  During the event, teachers and students read reports on the new version of the main law of the country. The speakers noted the adoption of the new version of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the referendum of April 30, 2023, which indicates that it reflects the hopes and aspirations of our people to create a New Uzbekistan. In the new version of the Constitution, the strategic goal of state building is defined as building a social state, introducing the principles of social justice and solidarity, as well as constitutional foundations that provide completely new mechanisms for the protection of human rights and freedoms.

  At the end of the event, the most active students were awarded certificates of honor.
