In order to promote a healthy lifestyle among the population and improve the health of the population in remote areas, the working group of the Samarkand State Medical University is conducting medical examinations of the population in remote areas of the region.
For example, on September 13, in the medical association of the 6,000-population point of Josh neighborhood, which is considered a remote area of Koshrabot district, about 300 residents were examined by SamSMU qualified therapists, surgeons, gynecologists, oncologists, neuropathologists, ENTs, pediatricians and ophthalmologists. was conducted and the necessary instructions were given. Based on the results of the diagnosis, 12 patients were referred to SamSMU Multidisciplinary Clinic and Specialized Children's Surgical Clinic. Another goal of these medical examinations is to provide convenient medical services to the population with limited means, to improve the quality of life by establishing regular examinations and treatments for patients in the 4th and 3rd risk groups. In the future, it is planned to cover the population of the region with a full medical examination.
In addition, professors and teachers of the Samarkand State Medical University organized classes for the employees of the Koshrabot District Medical Association. In particular, the teacher of the department of otorhinolaryngology of SamSMU DKTF, Ph.D. Khamraev Farid Khamidullaevich and Ne'matov Uktam Suyunovich gave detailed answers to the questions that arose. These classes will be systematically continued, and it is planned to further improve the qualifications of the employees of the district medical association.
In addition, many surgeries are being performed with the participation of qualified medical staff of Samarkand State Medical University, and for the first time in the district, a complex traumatological surgery was performed. The operation of osteosynthesis of the external condyle of the left tibia with the help of angular stabilizing plastic was successfully performed. The advantage of this rare practice is that in the postoperative period, plaster bandages are not applied to the patient and many complications are avoided.
These large-scale and systematic tasks carried out by the professors and teachers of the Samarkand State Medical University in the remote areas of the region play an important role in the formation of a healthy lifestyle among the population and further improvement of the health care system.
