The staff of the newly established Department of Urology of Samarkand State Medical University successfully performed a complex urological surgery, which is rarely performed today.

  A 53-year-old patient who presented with inability to urinate independently and pain in the area of the bladder was examined and diagnosed with urethral stricture.   Urethral - urethral anastomosis was performed on the patient by Holtsov's method.

  The general condition of the patient after the operation is satisfactory.

  This surgical operation, performed by the staff of the Department of Urology of Samarkand State Medical University, serves to make such a small number of operations more widespread in the region.
