The new 2024-2025 academic year began in all higher education institutions on September 9 of this year. In particular, the new academic year at Samarkand State Medical University began in a festive mood. In the early morning, a ceremonial meeting was held in the new educational building of SamSMU. The university management, professors and teachers and students took part in it. Speaking at the event, Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev, congratulated all students on the new academic year and wished them luck in their future studies.

  Also, students of the 1st stage got to know the study and laboratory rooms of the university and the conditions created in them. The students of the first stage also visited the museum of the history of the university and got information about the establishment, development and interesting history of the university.

  The first lessons "If we are united - we are one nation, if we unite - our Motherland!" organized as independence classes under the motto, and the memory of our ancestors who sacrificed their lives for our freedom and independence was commemorated. It was also noted that independence is a great blessing, and the huge reforms implemented in our country today are the honor of our independence.
