The International Summer School of Medical Students, which continues traditionally, is being held at Samarkand State Medical University. The official opening ceremony of the international summer school was held today. Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, professor Jasur Rizayev, who spoke at the opening, congratulated all the participants. He also spoke about the importance of the summer school being organized and emphasized that it will serve as a platform for students to acquire new knowledge and skills and establish new friendly relations.

  After the opening, more than fifty students from more than twenty medical universities from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and the Russian Federation introduced the history and activities of their universities through presentations.

  Also, within the framework of the summer school, the participants visited the Simulation Center at the Samarkand State Medical University and got acquainted with the created conditions and training-simulation rooms equipped with modern technologies. The participants had the opportunity to test their knowledge and skills in practice and exchange knowledge and experience at the Simulation Center.

  "International Summer School of Medical Students" is scheduled to last from August 12 to 17.
