On February 15, the Faculty of Medical Pedagogy and Folk Medicine organized a conference on "Equal opportunities and guarantees of equal rights for men and women, including girls" at the Samarkand State Medical University. The event was attended by F.A. Daminov, dean of the faculty of medical pedagogy and folk medicine, G.I. Khudoyberdiyeva, chairman of the women's advisory council of the university, women's advisers to the deans of the faculty, tutors, students, professors and teachers of the department of social sciences.
The dean of the faculty F.A. Daminov, the head of the department of social and humanitarian sciences, associate professor A.N. Makhmudova, associate professor L.R.Usmonova, teachers G.B. Tursunova and G.K. Mardiyeva, who spoke at the conference, gave detailed insights about the concept of gender and gender politics, the impact of gender equality on the development of society, the importance of gender equality in building a new Uzbekistan. and returned detailed answers to the questions asked by the participants.
At the end of the conference, the dean of the faculty F.A. Daminov ceremoniously handed over certificates of honor to the representatives of active women in science.
