It is known that today some countries and societies are experiencing complex socio-political processes. A number of countries in the Middle East and other regions are experiencing deep political tension, social and economic instability and serious conflicts. The reason for this can be explained, among other things, by the growth of religious extremism and terrorist activities in these regions.
On December 1 of this year, a meeting on countering religious extremism and terrorism was held at Samarkand State Medical University. In their speeches Rector Advisor of Samarkand State Medical University Elerbek Aripov, Deputy Dean for Youth Work of Medical Faculty No.2 Rustam Bobokulov gave information to students about religious extremism and terrorism, urged them to appreciate and protect peaceful life reigning in the republic. The participants of the meeting received answers to all their questions.
