Examinations for students of co-curricular programs held

  Samarkand State Medical University implements joint educational programs together with a number of foreign educational institutions.  In particular, the basis for joint educational programs at the University are the contracts concluded earlier with more than 10 foreign medical universities in 15 directions.  Thus, the official website of the University  was source of information for announcement and, consequently, relative applications were accepted  for admission to joint educational programs of bachelor's degree in stomatology (with Altai Medical University, Russian Federation), cosmetology (with Pomeranian University in Słupsk, Republic of Poland), bioengineering and bioinformatics (with Baltic Federal University, Russian Federation) and clinical residency (with Vitebsk State Medical University, Republic of Belarus).

  On November 4 and 10 of the current year an examination was held for students wishing to study under these joint educational programs.  The exams were organized transparently and fairly under the control of surveillance cameras and the Knowledge and Skills Assessment Agency's staff.  For reference, ther were 42 applicants, which took part in the tests of "Dentistry" direction, 6 students - in "Cosmetology", 4 students - in "Bioengineering and Bioinformatics" and 15 - in clinical residency programs.
