According to the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a group of representatives of the sphere were awarded with the badge "Excellent Worker of Higher Education" in honor of the holiday "October 1 - Day of Teachers and Mentors", for their selfless work, making a significant contribution to the development of higher education system of the country.

  This,  number of employees of Samarkand State Medical University were also honored with the badge, in particular: Allayarov Yakhshinor Norboboevich, chairman of the trade union committee of the university staff; 

• Gairatjon Abdumurodovich Elmurodov, vice-rector for financial and economic work;
• Zafarjon Babadjanovich Kurbaniyazov, head of the department of surgical diseases №1;
• Aziza Nugmanovna Makhmudova, head of the department of social and humanities sciences;
• Irina Rubenovna Agababyan, head of the department of internal diseases of FPE.
