In order to popularize healthy lifestyle and sports among student youth, various sports competitions are held on regular basis at Samarkand State Medical University.
Thus, on September 25-26, sports games "Student League" was organised within the framework of the Olympiad "Five Initiatives".
Students of medical faculty №1, divided into teams, took part in mini-football competitions in the academic lyceum of SamSMU. In total, eight student teams participate in the competitions held at the faculty section. As it was expected, the competitions were full of fierce confrontation between the teams, and according to their results the winners and prize-winners were determined. The team of 1st year students "Yoshlar" took the 3rd place, the team of 2nd year students "Sherdor" was awarded the 2nd place, and the team of 3rd year students "Samarkand" managed to win the honorable 1st place.
The winners and participants were awarded by the organizers with certificates of merit and memorable gifts.
