On September 4, a new academic year started in all educational institutions of our country. A solemn meeting was held in the new academic building of Samarkand State Medical University with the participation of representatives of the administration and students. At the event, students were congratulated on the new academic year and wished good luck in their future studies.

  The 1st year students were given a familiarization tour of the teaching and laboratory facilities of the university and the conditions created in them. The first-year students also visited the University History Museum and received information about the establishment, stages of development and history of the University.

  The first lessons were held in the format of "Lesson of Independence", where they honored the memory of ancestors who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the republic. Thus, it was emphasized that independence is a great blessing, and the large-scale reforms implemented in the country today are due to our independence.

  Solemn meetings with students in honor of the beginning of the new academic year were held in all academic buildings of the University.
