On June 16, at the initiative of the head of the Department of Pharmacology of the Samarkand State Medical University S.Zh. Yuldashev, a training seminar “Side effects of drugs during pregnancy” was held at the Siab Medical College of Public Health named after Abu Ali ibn Sino in Samarkand. The seminar was attended by teachers of the Department of Pharmacology of the Samarkand State Medical University, teachers and students of the technical school of the medical college.
The seminar was opened by the director of the Siab Medical College Orif Ibragimov, who spoke about improving the quality of the educational process at the college and strengthening cooperation with the Samarkand State Medical University. After that, the head of the Department of Pharmacology of the Samarkand State Medical University, Soatbai Yuldashev, spoke in detail about the ongoing reforms to improve the quality of education, the development of the medical sector in the country, attention to healthy motherhood and the importance of taking into account the side effects of drugs in the health of mothers and children.
At the seminar, a lecture was heard by the teacher of pharmacology at the medical college Sh. During the workshop, a broad discussion of the topic was also held with an active discussion among the participants.
An agreement was reached between the Department of Pharmacology of the Samarkand State Medical University and the Siab College of Public Health to organize such joint master classes and educational seminars on a regular basis.
