On May 30, Samarkand State Medical University held a round table on "Combating and preventing terrorism and extremism, cybercrimes, as well as other crimes and offenses".
The round table was attended by A. Doniev, head of the department for combating crimes of public security of the Samarkand Regional Department of Internal Affairs, O. Ahmadov, head of the department for investigating crimes of terrorist nature of the Regional Department. Akhmadov, S. Sobirov, the employee of the department on combating terrorism, E. Aripov, adviser of the university rector on youth affairs, spiritual and educational work, A. Makhmudova, the head of the department of social and human sciences, O. Eshmurotov, the inspector of prevention and students.
During the event, the speakers provided detailed information on measures taken to combat crime, delinquency, terrorism and extremism, spoke about the essence of cybercrime and ways of suppressing it, presentations were accompanied by photo and video materials. Invited guests urged students to be active in public life, to study well and become competitive skilled health professionals in the future.
