The Kazakh National Medical University (KazNMU) in Almaty (Republic of Kazakhstan) hosted the International Olympiad in the discipline "Pharmacology" among students of medical universities. More than 3000 participants from India, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and other countries took part in the subject Olympiad, online and offline.

  Samarkand State Medical University at the International Olympics was represented by the "MedHub Team" team of third-year medical and dental students.

  A team of SamSMU students, in a serious rivalry with participants from 20 teams, demonstrated high theoretical and practical knowledge and skills, the competition jury also noted excellent knowledge of medical terminology in English. According to the results of the international Olympiad, our students: A. Rustamov (team captain, Faculty of Medicine, 331 gr.), R. Mamatkulova (Faculty of Medicine, 331 gr.), M. Abdukhalilov (Faculty of Medicine, 332 gr.), S. Nasriddinova (Faculty of Medicine, 332 gr.), N. Normuradov (Faculty of Dentistry, 316 gr.) Under the leadership of the head of the Department of Pharmacology, Associate Professor. S.J. Yuldashev received an honorary I-place.
